Alex Semenov, known as Lazy Square, is a USA-based writer-director, artist, and animator.
Born in Siberia, he graduated as a graphic designer in 2012 and began his career in Moscow as a designer and art director before moving fully into animation.

Launched in 2016, Lazy Square grew from an independent experiment into a globally recognized project.
The YouTube channel has over 650,000 subscribers and hundreds of millions of total views, with short films widely shared and known worldwide for their humor and storytelling.

Alongside original shorts, Aleksei has collaborated with global brands including L’Oréal (Matrix, Kiehl’s New York), Ubisoft, 20th Century Fox, Levi’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Tinkoff Bank, 1inch, and others.Lazy Square films received international recognition, including First Prize at the AZYL Short Film Festival (Slovakia) in the 1-Minute Short category.
